Need For Speed Hot Pursuit – Seacrest County Environments

Criterion Games have released a trailer showing off the types of challenges you will encounter whilst driving around Seacrest county in very fast cars ;-) Coastal roads, deserts, mountain switchbacks*, freeways, forests, day/night and various types of weather will test your driving skills. Looks like the art director (who used to work at Industrial Light and Magic) Henry LaBounta has been very busy.

The Need for Speed Hot Pursuit demo will be playable till the 9th Nov 2010 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. You can read my first impressions of the demo here.

*These are the zig zag roads that snake up steep hills. The best examples of which can be found at the Stelvio Pass, shown below from inside a Ferrari F430:

One day, I will drive this road (or the Transfagarasan) in a supercar. Just got to decide which supercar I’ll take. Any suggestions?
