E3 2013: World Of Tanks On Xbox 360 – Talking Tanks With Frazer Nash
- Updated: 26th Jun, 2013
Wargaming’s surprise new console game at E3 2013 turned out to be World of Tanks on the Xbox 360 which was announced during Microsoft’s E3 press conference.
Just like the PC version, it’s free to play as long as you have an Xbox Live Gold account, a cost that Wargaming’s CEO Victor Kislyi said they have to tolerate.
We asked Frazer Nash, Wargaming’s UK PR Manager to tell us about this new 360 version. In this first video he talks about the menu/UI changes for the larger living room TVs, starting range of tanks, game updates (e.g. new maps and tanks), controls and differences between Xbox Live Gold and Silver versions of the game.
Check back for part two of the video in which he talks about pay to win (i.e. buying premium tanks and ammo) and how Wargaming is changing World of Tanks to make a more level playing field for everyone.
