Marvel Heroes Gets Presale Bonuses

Marvel Heroes, the free-to-play MMO coming from Diablo creator David Brevik, has announced a series of “Founders Pack” – bonus item bundles for people who spend money on the game before its release.

There are 3 different price tiers on offer: Starter Packs for £12.99, Premium Packs for £39.99 and The Ultimate Pack for £129.99. Each will offer a selection from the following items:

• Costumes
• In-Game Currency
• Bonus Currency
• Early Access Days
• Exclusive Costumes*
• Exclusive Enhanced Costume*
• One-Hour XP Boosts
• Item Find Boosts

The starter packs are based on particular hero: Iron Man, Hulk, Spider-Man and so on. As well as the currency and boosts listed above, you’ll unlock the character, get two different costumes for it and a character-specific forum title, like Anti-Hero for those who buy the Punisher pack.

Premium Packs are based around Marvel teams – Uncanny X-Men, Avengers Assemble and more. Buying these will get you 4 characters with 2 costumes each, a forum title and a forum avatar and the other bonuses, including £20 of in-game currency.

The Ultimate Pack gets you… basically everything. All the costumes and heroes at launch, 4 costumes unique to the pack, £64 worth of in-game currency (some time-limited), permanent character boosts and a listing in the game’s credits. Not bad if you’ve money to burn.
