Assassin’s Creed: Rogue Announced for X360 and PS3
- Updated: 5th Aug, 2014
Assassin’s Creed Rogue has been officially confirmed by Ubisoft following a series of leaked shots from the trailer earlier today. Long-rumoured as Assassin’s Creed: Comet, it ill be coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 on 11th November 2014.
You’ll be playing as Irish former Assassin Shay Patrick Cormac, who has turned Templar after betrayal by the Assassins. It’s set during the Seven Years War of the 18th Century, covering North America – the frozen North Atlantic ocean, the Appalachian River Valley and New York City. The Seven Years War took place between 1754 and 1763, so we may well see more of Haytham Kenway.
Naval combat has been enhanced, again, with new weapons aboard your ship, The Morrigan. Assassins may attempt to board your ship, while you’ll be able to shoot continuously with the puckle gun, or drop burning oil in your wake. Shay himself wields a long range air rifle and carries specialised grenades.
The collector’s edition of Assassin’s Creed: Rogue is already available for preorder, featuring a bunch of extra DLC packs, an art book, the soundtrack and three lithographs in a fancy envelope, all packaged in a fancy box.
