Need For Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed – In The Hands Of A Professional
- Updated: 19th Mar, 2011
Check out this video for a serious demonstration of car control from professional racing driver Tommy Milner (Dubai 24hr race winner) in Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed. Driving a Chevrolet Corvette around the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca race track with no driver aids, Tommy makes the game look staggeringly easy by posting a lap time of – 1:21:709.
If you watch the in-car views closely, you’ll get to see the new helmet-cam in action. As the car turns into a corner, the in-car camera turns too just as a real driver in the car would. The helmet-cam is pretty much the only camera view I use to play Shift 2 Unleashed, it’s THAT good. The static camera views you get in driving games like Gran Turismo just don’t cut it any more ;-)
Think you can beat Tommy’s time? Well, if you do then Autolog system, which records all your in-game performances, will tell your friends how awesome you are! It also shows how you stack up against the best times in your country and in the world across for every track. Can you post the best times in the world?
Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed is released on the 1st April 2011 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
