Homefront have released their PS3 demo on the PlayStation Network. Our very own Jon Jones reviewed the 360 version back in May. He likes the Homefront multiplayer so go grab the demo and give it a whirl yourself.
Nintendo Scene are planning to hold a flash mob Streetpass event in central London at 14:00 – 14:30 on the 9th July 2011. The dress code is RED, so you’re asked to wear as much of it as possible. The exact location will be announced the evening before the event so keep an eye on the Facebook event page or their Twitter account for more information.
Funcom’s hack-n-slash MMO Age of Conan is now free to play and has been relaunched today as Age of Conan: Unchained. Originally launched with a subscription model in 2008, Age of Conan has followed the now well trodden path of other MMOs (World of Warcraft, City of Heroes, Lord of the Rings Online) and Team Fortress 2. You can still become a premium subscriber for between 6-8 GBP a month (depending on the subscription length) to rid yourself of the shackles of the free account.
A forum member of the The Unofficial Final Fantasy site has recreated big chunks of Final Fantasy I in Minecraft. The mind boggles as to just how long this has taken him to create. Take a look:
