MWC 2011 – FIFA 2010 And Crash Bandicoot In Action On The Xperia PLAY

Here are the videos of the first 2 games I got to play on the Xperia PLAY at the MWC 2011 event. I’ve also got recordings of the other pre-loaded games which I’ll post over the next few days.

Crash Bandicoot:

One of the PlayStation One’s earliest games, Crash Bandicoot is back on the Xperia PLAY. It looks and sounds exactly as I remember, and plays like it too. As you can see from the video, the game does not run in fullscreen mode. This was the only PS1 game that was available to play, so I don’t know if this is going to be true of all PS1 games on the Xperia PLAY.

FIFA 2010:

Yep, it’s FIFA 2010. You’ll be able to play this as soon as you get your new Xperia PLAY phone as it is one of the pre-loaded games. Football games aren’t really my cup of tea so I didn’t spend very long playing this. Suffice to say, it felt like a fairly solid footy game. Easy to control and it doesn’t look too bad.
