Minecraft Combat from a Pro Stuntman

The Minecraft Official Combat Handbook launched last month and publishers Egmont held a launch party for Minecraft’s young fans. At the event, professional stuntman Paul Lowe taught them safe playfighting techniques inspired by their favourite game.

The handbook itself is a useful reference guide for kids new to the weapons and monsters of Minecraft. You can check the vulnerabilities of creatures, find out what sort of loot they drop and the conditions under which they’ll spawn. There are battleground plans from FyreUK, basic raiding tips for PvP and plans to build exploding trees and TNT cannons. IF you know a young child who’s just getting into Minecraft, this could be a great gift.
