4 Underwhelming Weapons for Dead Rising 3

After writing about the Dead Rising video yesterday, I had a poke about to find more info on the weapons. Turns out there are a few listed on the Xbox Dead Rising 3 microsite, in addition to the sledge saw.

The Grenade Launcher

Strap some grenades to a shotgun and it becomes a grenade launcher. Much like Dead Rising 2, I wouldn’t suggest thinking about the physics too much. Sure, this could be fun but it’s not exactly innovative, is it? It’s just shooting more grenades faster and farther than you can throw them.

The Pummel Blast

Strap some grenades to a sledgehammer and every time you strike a zombie, it explodes. Okay, that sounds more interesting. Just try not to get caught by the shrapnel.

The Gun Blade

No.

Squall had a gunblade. This is a shotgun with a knife taped to the end. Bayonets have been around since the 17th century. Use your imagination, lads.

The Iron Edge

This is a knife with another knife stuck on it.

/sigh.
