Vote on Xbox One Backwards Compatibility
- Updated: 16th Jun, 2015
As announced at the Xbox conference earlier today, Microsoft are making the Xbox One backwards-compatible with hundreds of Xbox 360 games. Put your Xbox 360 game disc into the Xbox One and you’ll be able to download and play an Xbox One version of the game. “It plays just like on Xbox 360 but better” they said in the conference. I look forward to enjoying the original Mass Effect texture pops in all their fuzzy glory.
Anyway, they’re asking people to vote on what games they want to see playable on the Xbox One. Currently leading the pack are Red Dead Redemption, Skyrim and Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Go vote for the old games you want to play on Xbox One here.
The service will be free and a hundred games will be supported by autumn.
You can find the list of games that are definitely supported here and more will be added as they are confirmed.
