Mystery Medium Game
- Updated: 24th May, 2012
An envelope arrived for me in the post today with a postmark from Krakow. Inside, I found just a card, printed on both sides.
Mouse over the picture to see both images. Here are larger versions of the front and back. Note the grey man at the zebra crossing on the left and the red light in the top right corner.
On the front of the envelope was a URL: medium-game.com Go there and all you see is a logo and an email address. I sent an email to them and received the following reply.
Enjoy your game!
Something big is coming :)Your Medium
Hmm…
There’s nothing noteworthy that I can see in the source code for the website – just a description of “The most unique game experience.” and page title “You have only seen half so far…”
A whois lookup on the URL reveals that it’s registered by Bloober Team, a Krakow-based company who created the Vita launch game called A-Men.
I’ve spoken with Bloober Team’s Co-Founder and Creative Director Piotr Bielatowicz in the past and I know that he’s not interested in making games for the casual market. He’s a core gamer through and through. A-Men has a goofy feel but underneath that lies a complex puzzle game. Bloober Team’s other games are similarly cartoonish but the tone of this one seems entirely different.
I am intrigued…
