When the RAGE Facebook page reaches 100,000 likes id Software have said they will make the iPod, iPhone and iPad versions of the RAGE mobile app free for 1 week on release. At the moment the page just needs another 45,431 likes to reach the goal.
World of Warplanes:
Wargaming.net have released the first screenshots for their upcoming World of Warplanes flight combat MMO PC game. Expect more information about the game to be released next week during Gamescom. I’m especially interested in the balance between air combat and flight simulation and if you start on the ground and fly into the warzones or start airborne inside them. So many questions….
Theme Park and Battlefield 3:
Pocketgamer are reporting that the classic Amiga management simulation Theme Park and the new Battlefield 3 game will both be appearing on iOS. I absolutely loved playing Theme Park back in the early 90’s. I even got to meet Peter Molyneaux in 1994 at a Theme Park launch event in HMV on Oxford Street when he was the head of Bullfrog Productions who originally made the game. Theme Park is also available the Nintendo DS and from the PlayStation Store.

Rock Hippo Production’s free2play action MMO is starting its closed beta on the 11th Aug 2011. The game features 5 different player classes, different consumes and weapons, online multiplayer, single-player and co-op modes. You can apply for a close beta code on the Brawl Busters website now.
