Call Of Duty: Black Ops – Play It Free This Weekend

If you’ve ever wondered what all the fuss is about with Call Of Duty: Black Ops then now’s your chance to play it for free this weekend. This offer only applies to the Steam version of Black Ops, not the console versions.

Starting today, like right now, you can download and play the PC version of Black Ops for free until 9pm Sunday 5th June 2011. That’s 3 full days of gaming and achievement gathering. Seems that Activision think weekends start on a Thursday. Well, I’m not arguing.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops is out now on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Nick started gaming in the early 1980s on Nintendo's Game & Watch handhelds before spending a serious amount of time playing Elite on the BBC Micro. Its been downhill since then via ownership of the Atari ST, Amiga, A500 and A1200, PC Engine GT, PS1, PC, PS2, Gameboy Advance, SP and DS, PSP, Wii, PS3, PS Vita, A1200 (again) and PS4 Pro. He likes shoot-em-ups and role-playing games – citing Dungeon Master as “the greatest game ever made” – driving games, the odd platformer and Zelda games.
