Fallout New Vegas DLC Confirmed for Xbox Live

It’s only 4 days until Fallout: New Vegas is released in the UK (22nd October). We’ve all been drowning in developer diaries, retrospectives and Fallout 3 replays over the past month. I’m so excited that my bf has been forced to ban me from sugary drinks. Allegedly I bounce around the house singing “Off to New Ve-ey-gas on Friday!” far too often.

Please. It’s not my fault that Dead Rising 2 is set on a gambling strip and reminds me of Vegas. Or that I stash bottle caps in case they become the de facto currency after the apocalypse. Or that sometimes I walk my robot around the desk going Pew! Pew! and pretending that he’s Liberty Prime. Oh wait. Those last two are entirely my fault and I don’t care. I’m having fun! :)

Bethesda Softworks have just confirmed that the first downloadable add-on for Fallout: New Vegas will be available through Xbox Live “this holiday season”. No details on what it will be but more info will be released in the next few weeks. D’you reckon “holiday season” includes January? Hope not – sounds like a politically correct version of “around Christmas” to me.

Regardless of when it’s coming out, this means that anyone getting Fallout: New Vegas on PlayStation 3 or PC will have to wait even longer. Still got 4 days to change those pre-orders!
