There were a whopping 52 ads for the Xbox 360 and its games in this morning’s Metro. Yep, Microsoft appear to have bought every single ad in the free morning newspaper, including a double-page centrefold calendar of the DOA Xtreme 2 women. I was half expecting to see little 360s nestling in the real estate sales photos. Alas, it was not so.

Between this and the prevalence of Wii ads (e.g. in this month’s Glamour magazine), I’ll be surprised if kids don’t get something video-game-related for Christmas this year.
