videoGaiden for non-Scots

Video game show videoGaiden is now available online from the BBC website, but only if you have a UK IP address. And it’s streamed in either RealPlayer or Windows Media. And the picture quality is awful. And each episode is only online for the seven days following the TV broadcast.
So basically, you’d be better off getting it through BitTorrent. The Gitaroo Man segment is almost unwatchable in RealPlayer. I’m not sure if downloading from other sources is legal though, so don’t come crying to us if you get arrested.
videoGaiden is the BBC Scotland show by the guys who make Consolevania. They’re very definitely actual gamers and not just clueless presenters reading a script.
It’s funny in some parts and painfully lame in others. Go check it out. The show broadcasts over BBC 2 Scotland on Sunday nights (as well as Sky Digital 990), so the first episode of the current season is online now. The next one will be available from Monday.
